COMMERCIAL SALES AND LEASING CONSULTANT

As the region’s most prominent and experienced commercial real estate provider, we are looking for a full time Commercial Sales and Leasing Consultant to join our team. With a long history in the region and having been involved in many of the significant commercial and industrial projects in Albury/Wodonga and the surrounding areas, this position is a fabulous opportunity for the successful candidate.

As a Commercial Sales and Leasing Consultant, your role will be focused on contributing to the provision of quality services through effectively listing properties for sale or lease and managing the sales or leasing process in a manner that exceeds customer expectations.

Some of your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Maintain familiarity with all office listings and manage listings assigned by management
  • Complete all necessary documentation associated with listing and selling or leasing property
  • Provide regular written and oral feedback to vendors/lessors on market indicators and buyer/lessee interest
  • Conduct market appraisals for prospective vendors and/or lessors
  • Demonstrate a commitment to satisfying the requirements to uphold a real estate licence or certificate under relevant real estate legislation
  • Continually look to identify further business opportunities through effective liaising with other related businesses and colleagues
  • Ensure potential customers are provided with reliable and accurate advice regarding property movements and industry trends
  • Assist when required in preparing and providing various sales and/or leasing reports
  • Assist the business in gaining a greater market share, including telephone canvassing, door knocking and leaflet drops

Essential Requirements:

  • Possession of a Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration
  • Current Class C Driver’s Licence and able to provide your own motor vehicle for work purposes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A proven ability to build strong client relationships
  • Highly developed time management skills
  • Attention to detail with an ability to prioritise multiple projects
  • Strong negotiation skills

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience in the real estate industry and in the local property market
  • An understanding of both local and national real estate markets
  • Knowledge of effective marketing strategies relevant to the industry
  • Relevant formal training

An attractive remuneration package including car allowance is on offer for the successful candidate.
